Visitors don't want to miss a trip to the local James A. Gaston Visitor Center, an integral part of the Bull Shoals-White River State Park and situated on a high point across the Bull Shoals Dam, offering a gorgeous view of the White River, Bull Shoals Dam and Bull Shoals Lake. The Center is just two miles from Lakeview.
See local interpretive exhibits in the 1700 square foot exhibit hall. Learn about early inhabitants of the area, and all the creatures that live in the waters and on the land. There is a historical film answering many questions about the history of the area, the Bull Shoals Dam and the White River.
