FISHING
Fishing is a popular activity in and around Lakeview! So many fish, so little time. Enjoy walleye, large mouth bass, crappie, catfish and gigantic stripers on Bull Shoals Lake. There are countless bass fishing tournaments in the area - just check our calendar for upcoming events. Local marinas offer boat rentals; bring the whole family!
If you prefer the cold waters of the White River, just below the Bull Shoals dam, and minutes from Lakeview, try your hand at rainbow or brown trout fishing. The state record holding brown trout was caught in March 2015 just minutes from Lakeview on the White River. Other rivers are close by too, Crooked Creek and the majestic Buffalo National River. All are scenic each of the four seasons, as well as prime fishing locations.
There are many fishing guides that guide the lakes and rivers in the area. They often do 1/2 and full day trips - a great experience for beginners or those looking to max out their fish limit.

BOATING
Bull Shoals Lake is a hot spot for boaters. The lake hosts annual wakeboarding competitions and fishing tournaments. Rent a boat from a local marina, or bring your own ski, fishing, pontoon or houseboat. It's not hard to find a cove all to yourself, and enjoy the crystal clear waters.
